For so many years we did all of our work on our kitchen table. We would have every thing spread out and then when we finished we would have to gather it all up again and keep in in a folder and a box. I do not know what possessed me to do things that way it was just how it was done as I was a child so I continued doing it that way. When we bought our new home it had an extra room in it that was referred to as an office. We love having an office. We bought our first desk and a filing cabinet that has migrated into three filing cabinets. Everything is so organized as it was before but it just all makes a little more sense now and it certainly looks a lot better!

After we went on a home show that came to our town we decided that it would be fun to see what we could do our selves to make our home have a modern look to it. We had talked about it for a couple of years and we decided that it was time to try it. We began looking at bedroom furniture. It was so much fun shopping through the huge selection of furniture pieces. We picked some pieces from different styles and put them all together to create our own space. We like it so much we are going to try another room. It is fun once you get started and decide what you want and where you want to place it!

When a friend of ours that builds homes for a living told us to come and see the home they had finished we knew he was proud of it. He had worked for a long time on this one home. He put a lot of details into it and it showed. The only thing left was to have the junk bins removed and it was ready to sell. He said that he likes to have the junk bins on site because it makes the area stay clean and when the building is completed they have next to no clean up and he was right. All he had to do was sweep the driveway when they took the bin away. The home was something special. He sold it in the first week it went up for sale. All that meant to me is someone else appreciated all the work he put into it.
