The topic of Reputation on the web has become huge over the years where negative things can be said about you the internet. The problem with the internet is things can be said about you or someone without any truth or facts of the statements.
In this issue of This Week in Social Media, will be talking to People Power with Mark Pesce and Brad McCarty. It is nice to watch shows like this on video. Over time we will see more go video only on the internet. Saves money and enable those that want to watch and watch anytime you want.
I have a very difficult decision to make today. I was offered a job at a very respected law firm, but it would mean more hours and leaving my friends. I have been struggling with the decision for a few weeks now. My method for difficult decisions has always been the pro and con list. When I choose what college to attend it was instate vs out-of-state. When I was picking television providers, it was Directv vs Cable. Now my pro and con list is current job vs wonderful job. The list is already bias by the name, but it still doesn’t make the decision any easier. I love all of my current coworkers and I love the location of my current job. However, I have been working and working for a respectable career and I know this is the first step into that direction. As much as it pains me to leave my coworkers and my comfortable life, I think in my heart I know the decision is to take the job. I just thought the right decision would be a lot easier than this.
There are so many events that require a catering service. It just makes things more fun for everyone if an event is catered because you do not have to worry about the foods. The caterers will handle all of that. When I read about a way to cater an event with bbq and all of the good stuff that goes along with it I was sold on it. The economy has changed the way people think. There was a time when our lives began to change we would sell our homes and find a new home that better fit our changing needs. Whether it was more room for a new baby or an upgrade we needed we would automatically opt for finding a new home. Now our current economy has people rethinking that choice. We are falling back in love with our homes again. Realizing we can change our homes to fit our current needs has become the more popular choice. When we added a room to our home we had the space we needed and it helped us to spread out in our living space. Change is a good thing sometimes and it certainly gives your space a new feel.
There are so many people interested in the world of body building. It is truly like a world all it’s own. We have some friends that are really interested in this world and they work really hard at it. It consumes what they eat and their work out times consume much of their free time. This is especially true if there is a competition on the horizon. It is amazing to watch as they prepare for the event by really charging up tier routines. It is a job for them that is every day and every minute. When one of them asked us to go to their competition we did not realize what all was involved in these events. It makes sense their skin has to be healthy so it will maintain the elasticity that it will need for the amount of work it gets. One of the bodybuilders told us he thinks of his body as a lump of clay and he sculpted what he has become. I have to say he did a great job sculpting. For me I do a regular workout several times a week and I enjoy running with my family. We are all active and enjoy a healthy and active lifestyle but that does not take away from thinking what if I had dedicated myself as our friends have what would my clay have looked like?
